Description:
AEQ-550
Beyond Analog
An analog-modeled equalizer plugin — a 4-band console EQ, recreated with careful attention to the characteristics of the original hardware.
Based on a classic console equalizer featuring discrete operational amplifiers. Every frequency step, proportional-Q curve, and band-filter shape has been measured from the actual hardware and faithfully recreated.
Overview:
Modeled after a classic console equalizer featuring discrete operational amplifiers. Every frequency step, proportional-Q curve, and filter shape has been measured from an actual hardware unit and recreated.
Based on a real console equalizer
AEQ-550 Beyond Analog is modeled after a classic console equalizer built with discrete operational amplifiers—meticulously measured and then recreated. Every frequency step, proportional-Q curve, filter shape, and the FLTR (band-pass/cut filter) section are based on the original hardware unit and its circuitry.
